Convert it,
keep it simple.
Images convert on this device when the browser can do it well. Everything else goes to the home server — one queue, clear progress, no uploads to anyone else’s cloud. MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, Opus and M4A files convert into each other, and a video can also leave as an audio file with the picture left untouched.

Adding more files appends to the queue. Nothing is replaced.
Everything leaves the server when it expires. Converted files stay available for the rest of the hour.
Limits: any file size. One video or image conversion runs at a time; audio files convert up to 1 at once, in their own slots. Large files upload in parallel, resumable parts, so Cloudflare’s 100 MB request limit no longer applies. Files expire automatically.
